At Moving Mountains Foundation, we are dedicated to improving the quality of lives of children and adults with developmental and acquired disabilities. We have the following positions available:

Grant Writer:
Seeking an individual wanting to hone their skills in grant writing. Duties involve securing funding for several programs, including community inclusive education, free developmental screenings, community- building events, and small equipment grants for individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate has grant writing experience or supports and an understanding of disability issues in Montana.

System for Grant Funding Tracking:
Duties include creating a tracking system that increases MMF’s ability to manage and track funds for a variety of programs including community inclusive education, free developmental screenings, community-building events, and small equipment grants for individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has administrative experience, including an understanding of QuickBook, Excel, and similar software.

Website Maintenance/Online Marketing:
Duties include navigating a website builder platform in order to manage MMF’s website by adding updates to future community events, adding or subtracting features as MMF continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of our community, and troubleshooting minor IT issues such as ensuring all of the buttons are linked to the correct pages.

Education Platform:
Create a platform and system to allow for continuing education courses to be taken and credit to be received for skilled professionals and childcare providers. Duties include determining process for accreditation, attach payment option, design platform and create policies and procedures to ensure all participants understand how to operate system correctly.

Education Outreach:
Create a network of educators and learners and develop disability inclusion education in Montana. Duties include tracking funds and leading outreach to local communities. We have an enrollment process set up but would like to enhance what we have and ensure we have an appropriate means for following up with applicants.

Screening Outreach:
Develop a systematic approach to screening Montana's children for developmental disabilities. The Coordinator's responsibilities include managing and growing a network of caregivers, writing grants and managing grant funds, calling daycare centers and schools to arrange screening events, and educating the public on the benefits of early screening. We have an enrollment process set up but would like to enhance what we have and ensure we have an appropriate means for following up with applicants. The ideal candidate has experience in telephone customer service, writing skills, and an understanding of disability issues in Montana.

Brand Ambassador:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated brand ambassador intern to join our team and help us promote our brand, products, “I Move Mountains” campaign and mission. We are looking for someone to create and share engaging content, including social media posts, blog articles, or videos, to promote our mission and our products. In this position you would also assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events. The Brand Ambassador will also help in marketing efforts for MMF fundraisers and community events through providing outreach to potential donors and advertising these events to the public.

Interdisciplinary Screening Tool:
As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced team of therapist to design, develop, and optimize a screening tool that will play a pivotal role in ensuring that children in Western Montana are receiving the services they need to meet their full potential. This screening tool would be used for MMF’s and partnering agency University of Montana screening program.

Summer Programs and Event Coordinator:
Moving Mountains Foundation is in search of a Summer Program Coordinator and Event Coordinator to develop and manage programs for children and adults with disabilities. Duties include tracking and securing funding, planning events, scheduling events, and coordinating with community partners. The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication skills, event planning experience, and an understanding of disability issues in Montana.
